I choose to write my paragraph thing over the human genome related article. “Rebooting the Human Genome” I think its insane (in a good way) that the normal chart for the human genome that was created 12 years ago is already seen as outdated and incomplete, and that the way that they want to replace it is with a graph. After sequencing enough peoples DNA and making the graph they could see how far away someone with a genetic problem's DNA is from what would be considered the standard using graph theory to better understand what causes the problem and maybe how to fix it.

     Even with the countless variations in human DNA that seem completely inconceivable to try and picture, a scientist said that if graphed out, the amount of data needed to describe, mathematically, every possible variation of the human genome could fit on a flash drive; it’s only around one gigabyte. Describing the meaning of those variations is a far more extensive undertaking. If we could organize all types of human DNA sequences into a hard rive, a doctor could like run that against your own and quickly see if you are genetically disposed to having something like ALS or diabetes, or have a medication that wont work with you. That would revolutionize modern medicine making treatments for things like cancer much more effective and would streamline any kind of treatment process.

. 5. What is something we discussed this week that you can see yourself using (either directly or indirectly) after this semester? How and why?
Hamiltonian Circuit, because it could be used for planning a route for vacations, so you know you hit everywhere taking the least amount of time.

Hi, I'm Elijah Love. My last Math class was Advanced Math. I'm taking Math 110 because I need Math 112 for my major. I would say what i think the three subject we're going to learn about will be like and what I hope to learn from them, but what after learning about what actually counts as a graph on Monday I truly have no idea what to expect.
